Guimarães 2012 CEC

The agreement between the Foundation and the Press Association represented by Adriana Niemeyer aims to bring together around the Guimarães 2012 project a set of entities that can develop an effective media diffusion of the activities promoted under the European Capital of Culture.

The AIEP represents sixty international media from the various continents, who will give more attention to the Guimarães 2012 European Capital of Culture programming.

At the same occasion, the Foundation also signed cooperation protocols with two regional media outlets, ‘Expresso do Ave’ and ‘Guimarães TV’.

The national television broadcaster RTP, the weekly and reference newspaper ‘Expresso’ and the ‘Grupo Santiago’ (media group based in Guimarães) are some of the entities that had previously assumed the status of Official Partner.
