A live Radio Show with stories told by Mr. Guimarães – a fictional character that narrates and interprets all the characters by means of small props, sound design techniques and effects of incidental music.
Mr. Guimaraes tells stories of others Mrs. Guimaraes, fictional characters of fictional stories in the city. The stories are classified into categories of tales, fables, legends and parables, with the main thematic social and human values in the exercise of citizenship and memory preservation as historic and cultural heritage in the field of oral tradition.
Narrated sequentially and separated by fictitious advertisements, radio jingles and other resources, the stories last between 2 and 5 minutes and will be compiled and recorded on audio CD. The author and adapter, Thomas Bakk, more than a storyteller, is an actor and stage director and a play writer with plays performed in Portugal and Brazil. Was a screenwriter at Rede Globo TV Broadcasting and is currently dedicated to storytelling of his authorship and oral tradition.
