Biography
Eduardo Sardinha was born in Viana do Castelo, in 1970. A journalist, association leader and DJ. He has worked, amongst other entities, for the site Musicnet, the newspapers O Primeiro Janeiro, Diário de Notícias, Blitz and UM, where he was the editor. In radio, he has produced the Number One Network (Rock in UK or Casey’s Top 40, amongst other programmes). He was announcer and author of programmes in the Radio Alto Minho and Clube de Viana. He also worked as a journalist for these stations, and for Radio Geice, Radio Barca/Cadeia de Informação Norte and TSF - Centre. He has written for the magazines, New Musical Express, Cinema and Publimag. He worked on TV programmes for RTP and wrote texts for the documentaries, “Milho à Terra!” (by Carlos Eduardo Viana, 2007) and “Alto do Minho” (Miguel Filgueiras, 2012). He founded or helped set up, managed and/or collaborated with the associations, Ao Norte, Contagiarte, Chã das Eiras and Aisca. He has worked and continues to work for events such as the Viana Film and Video Encounters, Festafife –International Puppets and Animation Cinema Festival or the Fora d’Horas Museum (partnership between the Museum de Art and Archaeology in Viana do Castelo, Aisca and the Serralves Foundation). As a DJ, solo or in partnership with DJ Scotch in the project, Panthemusic, he has performed in the following venues: Rádio, Tendinha dos Clérigos, Eira, Contagiarte or Nasoni. He won the 1st prize in the photography competition of the Latina Triennial of Viana do Castelo (1992). He has staged several solo photography exhibitions and participated in various group exhibitions. He has signed texts for and about artists such as The Unplayable Sofa Guitar, Cavalheiro, Bilan, Lorenz Factor or Kubik.
 
Olga Nogueira studied at the University of Santiago de Compostela, the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III) and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. She has worked for the Galician Cultural Council, the Centre of Galician Studies in Paris, the Galician Cultural Industries Agency and currently for aCentral Folque, Galician Popular Music Centre, where she has developed the area of artistic production, in particular the Marful group, which has achieved international projection.
 
Luis Tarroso was born in Braga in April 1977. He has a BA Hons degree in Law from the School of Law of the University of Minho and since 2001 has worked as an attorney in the city of Braga. He founded ProjectoBragaTempo, an informal movement created in 2001 in order to discuss the quality of life and evolution in the city of Braga. The activities that he has developed include the Desbragada Conversations – informal conversations about the current state of the city of Braga and its future, the 1st History Course of the City of Braga and public presentation of a project to transform the Confiança Factory into a cultural venue. He is also a founder member of the cultural construction site, Velha-a-Branca, an independent non-profit cultural cooperative that opened its doors in October 2004. In a few years, transformation of an old house into a cultural venue has made it possible to organise hundred of exhibitions, more than 1000 different activities and various courses and workshops that had never been previously organised in Braga. All this without recourse to any public financing. He has worked for several publications, newspapers, books, conferences and video productions. He participated in the Avenida Central project, with the chronicle, Projectar Avenidas. In addition to his love of travelling and, in particular, discovering new cities, he is interested in many different areas including history, especially the history of the city of Braga, urbanism, urban planning, transport, photography and video, and would like to have more time to dedicate to these activities.
