Beyond History, curated by Nuno Faria, is a guided visit (without GPS) through the night of the past, through the maze of history, that offers a reading of artistic production not found in any books on the history of art. CIAJG brings together parts of three collections that José de Guimarães has collated over the past five decades – as well as works by the artist himself, works by other contemporary artists and objects of popular, religious and archeological heritage from Guimarães.
