Open Call: Fashion Talent
If you are a talented fashion designer looking to develop your work for an international market, a talented designer seeking business development opportunities, or just want to shine some light on your creativity, we want to hear from YOU!
Fashion Hub Plataforma de Moda is a project Guimarães 2012 - European Capital of Culture. It will showcase the qualities of Guimarães and northern Portugal as a hub for fashion and textile talent and help lead the way for a transformed regional brand that has fashion at its heart.
The aim of Fashion Hub is to showcase fashion and textile design talent from across the region to international markets. It will do this by building awareness of the innovative practice that we have in the region and nurturing a market for our talent. It will also provide mentoring and network support to our best talent and showcase our creativity in fashion.
To succeed, we need to find the best in fashion and textiles talent. In partnership with the British Council and as part of their Young Creative Entrepreneurs Award, we are announcing our Fashion Hub Open Call.
Applications must be submitted online by 17th of March 2012.
